In the proximity to the three operational military bases of Middlesex County, Norfolk County has a small, but noticeable contingent of active duty personnel residing within its boundaries. The Norfolk County Department of Veterans’ Services operates out of the County Commissioners Office. The department provides benefits and claims services to 28 cities and towns.
