The Clayton County Fair also showcases live musical acts and a beauty contest. Another popular festival is the Strawberry Days Festival, which brings in people from all over the state. Featuring some of the most delicious food and the most fun games, you are sure to have a great time at the Strawberry Days Festival.

The Sherman Swift Tower is replica of the exact chimney tower built by Althea Sherman in 1915. Another beautiful historical landmark in the county is the Elkader Keystone Bridge. Other attractions in Clayton County include the Lady Luck Casino, Motor Mill, and Cassville Car Ferry.
