Many of the historical landmarks in Brown County are popular tourist attractions for people from all over Kansas. The Davis Memorial is a beautiful monument in Hiawatha that depicts the artist’s wife. The Davis Memorial was built in 1934 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1977. Other Brown County landmarks listed on the National Register of Historic Places include the Samuel Bierer House, Delaware River Warren Truss Bridge, and the Bethany Brethren Church.
