Some basic requirements are that applicants live in Colorado for at least one year, be 65 years or older, or the surviving spouse of 58 years of age, or a disabled person. Income and expenses will guide how much is given in the rebate.

The County has four cities and six towns, and one city is Boulder, which serves as the county seat. The three other cities in the County are Lafayette, Longmont, and Louisville. Also, the six towns in the County are Erie, Jamestown, Lyons, Nederland, Superior, and Ward.
About Boulder County
Named after the large granite boulders that exist throughout the County, Boulder County was established in 1861 as one of the original counties in Colorado. Boulder County was originally home to Chief Niwot and his people until the arrival of European immigrants mining for gold in the County and created the first gold mining town Gold Hill.
Today the County has an economy where the most common employment industries are the Scientific/ Technical Services, educational services, and retail trade. As a result, the most common employment industries are management, sales, and office administration occupations.
In addition to its industries, the County is also home to quality educational institutions under the Boulder Valley School District and St Vrain Valley School District. Totalling 109 schools and about 63,808 students from kindergarten to the 12th grade. Moreover, the County is also home to higher education institutions with the University of Colorado Boulder and the Naropa University. Most students get degrees in the business administration, psychology, and physiology concentrations.
Outside of school and work, the County is home to significant artistic and cultural buildings where local artists and cultures are celebrated and displayed. These centers include the Arts Parts Creative Reuse Center, the Boulder Art Association Center, and the Classical Art Academy.
Furthermore, recreational opportunities are also available in the County, with places like the 12 Mile Stables where people can go horseback riding while enjoying some great vistas only available in Boulder County. Other outside activities are taking a balloon ride at Aero-Cruise Balloon Adventures or going white water rafting at AVA’s Colorado Rafting.
