The Cass County Courthouse has been standing of the county seat of Linden since 1859, making it one of the oldest courthouses in the state. The County Courthouse features an Antebellum style architecture, and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 25, 1979. The Mathews–Powell House is a beautiful historic home that has been standing in the county since 1878, and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on September 22, 1977.
