Worth. The county was officially created by the Georgia General Assembly from portions of Tift and Turner counties on December 20, 1853. There are many public parks in Worth County that are all great places to spend a day outdoors. The parks contain walking and jogging trails, covered pavilions, amphitheatres, and more! Other events held in Worth County include the GA Peanut Festival, 100 Mile Peanut Pickin Yard Sale, and City of Sylvester Christmas Parade.
