The North Fork John Day Wilderness also offers views of the majestic Blue Mountains. Other scenic outdoor spots in the county include Strawberry Lake and the Clyde Holliday State Recreation Site.

Visit all the amazing historical landmarks and structures in Grant County, where you can see early American architecture. The James Cant Ranch Historic District is an amazing historic pioneer ranch complex that has been standing since 1915. Visitors to the James Cant Ranch Historic District are offered the opportunity to tour an early 20th-century livestock ranch. The St. Thomas’ Episcopal Church is a beautiful historic church that has been standing in the area since 1876 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 21, 1974. Other historic landmarks in the county include the Fremont Powerhouse and Kam Wah Chung Company Building.
